Thanksgiving--by Erin

The day starts with the Macy's Thanksgiving parade then the work. I mean cooking,baking, and preparing. Then dinner and dessert. Followed by are traditional Thanksgiving play. But is that what Thanksgiving is about, of course not! It is about being Thankful for everything God gave to us. And when we think about all the things that we need to be thankful for it might occur to us how much less the pilgrims had. Half of their family had died, they were just getting by, and the labor was hard. But they were very faithful people who knew that God had everything planned out and they trusted him and were Thankful. My Thanksgiving should be about that most of all. So please this Thanksgiving....
